I live in Mount Joy with my family, two dogs and a betta fish and work at the Warehouse Hotel in Manheim. When I'm not crafting or working, I enjoy riding my bike, playing video games with my fiance, and watching any sort of fantasy TV show or film I can get my hands on.
My name is Tema and to make a long story short I was raised New Jersey yankee/Georgia peach pretty much 50/50. I obtained my B.F.A. in Illustration as well as a minor in Art History at the Savannah College of Art and Design in the beautiful and strange Savannah, Georgia.
Passionate is the word I use to describe how I feel about instructing, teaching, and helping people to find the artist within themselves. I especially love that person that will tell me they don't have an artistic bone in their body only to show them where that "bone" actually is and freeing them up to a calming and very rewarding new hobby, whether it be painting, drawing or crafting/jewerly making.
I very much enjoy conducting paint nights with a lot of fun and laughter (be it at me or with me) as well as sharing some of my knowledge and gettting down there with clients and showing them some one on one attention.
My name is Natalie Walker. I'm a local artist who grew up in York County. I have always been passionate about art. I'm trained in various mediums but I primarily focus on oil painting. See you soon!
I am a Multimedia Recycle Artist, which means I enjoy every kind of art form and combining it with found, old, discarded or unwanted items. I had formal training in the fine arts, but became very board with its structure and limits. I took what I had learned and added my own creative style and techniques. This unconventional art form was very well accepted, especially with more and more people “Going Green”. I have shown and sold her art in 49 states and had my own gallery in Lancaster City.
It is my passion. From a very young age, it is all I ever wanted to do. It is the only thing that keeps my mind focused. I believe everyone can create art, the just need to be shown. Nowadays, I am working with book binding, journals, clay, wood, textiles… whatever I can get my hands on. I also enjoy a good Pinterest challenge!
I was born and raised in Tennessee. This is where I obtained a degree in Interior Design with a strong focus in art and art history. I then spent the next five years traveling in and out of the country to further my knowledge of art and design concepts. After moving to York, I began teaching and spent free time working on various art and design projects. I enjoy painting on canvas and large murals, as well as refinishing furniture and creative photography. As part of the Paints Crafts and Drafts team, I am excited to share my knowledge and love for all things Art!
